Some More Wedding Pics
Lynn and I are back from our honeymoon in Greece, and the wedding pics are starting to flow in. Here are a few fun amateur ones from the Hilbert-Makowsky wedding (it sounds like a Mid-20th-Century European Non-Aggression pact of some kind).
Looking for all the world like a dictator and wife after the putsch, here they are, the lucky couple:

With Philadelphia in the background.

The Very Reverend Michael Poteet delivers a stirring homily

Ernie’s step-dad Mike escorts Lynn’s grandmother Mimi into the boathouse

Lynn with good friend Katy, laughing at something . . . in front of a photo of an Olympic medalist who looks nothing at all like Ernie

Lynn and Ernie sing along with Neil Diamond impersonator . . . “Sweeeeeet Caroline . . . Bah Bah Bahhhhh . . . Good times never seemed so good!” You had to be there.

Ernie with his mom at the Waterworks

Lynn with her sister Jenn, possibly having last minute doubts . . . .

Lynn and Ernie, freshly married

At the boathouse

The customized wedding CD sampler, designed by Jennifer Mercer, fabulous and absolutely free!

Lynn with grandmother Mimi

Ernie with Mimi and Lynn’s aunt Kathy

At the boathouse still, a few drinks later

The Philadelphia skyline

Lynn with her Mom and Pop before same skyline

Ernie’s “little” brother Dave, making a dirty toast (I am just to the left outside of the frame with a concerned look on my face)

Lynn’s friend Melanie and sister Jenn in front of the trophy case, with drinks

And, of course, the wedding crashers . . . what’s a wedding with some crashers to stir it up a bit, and boy did it get stirred!

Stop back soon for more wedding pics and some honeymoon.
