Renowned long-distance cyclist and inspirational speaker David Sylvester has long been a friend of E-Verse. After being struck by a car while riding his bike, and suffering what were thought crippling injuries, Sylvester went on to cycle across the entire expanse of Asia, part of his ongoing project to traverse all the earth’s inhabitable continents, stopping along the way to lecture, participate in community events, and raise funds for his scholarship fund, Contribute2.
His new book, Traveling at the Speed of Life, chronicles his many experiences biking across the United States, Africa, Europe, and Asia, as well as other work he has done in his hometown of Philadelphia. Click on the embedded Amazon link to purchase the book today.
Paul and I had him on the show a while back. Sylvester talks about his accident, losing one of his best friends on 9/11, and the many strange places he has found himself over the years.
