Why? I mean, really, come on! How is this easier than just holding the glass? Your hand shouldn’t be that warm! And what about mugs? They already have handles on them. And how do you put this thing down? They say it sits “easily on a table,” but I’m sure they mean the very edge. Here are their selling points:

Hand will not get cold & wet
Unique and fun to use
Sits easily on a table
Holds 16/20 oz. cups and 1-pint glasses

So the people tailgating are the same people (in the same clothing) who would bring a beer stick to a bar or party? And, these are the same people who might rest the chilled beer-on-a-stick on a hot grill, tuck a T-shirt into jeans, and/or wear a cell phone belt clip.
I guess I’m glad to be associated with the koozie crowd. Which, coincidentally, share the same selling points minus the models.
What an stupid thing to use! Look at those people . . . that does NOT look comfortable! Actually you can buy mugs that have insulators that keep the heat of your hand isolated from the contents of the mug.
I noticed they have no pictures of them actually drinking with this thing.
It may be physically impossible.
