Well, that’s a nice leap. When we last reported our numbers, back in June, we had just broken the 14,000 reader mark (that’s individual readers, regardless of how many times each visited the site during the month). The summer is a slow Sargasso, and we float languidly without worrying too much about stats, since students are out for the summer, which forces our numbers down a bit. I stopped by Paul’s desk to give him a few more E-Verse books to distribute for free from his cafe (I buy de-accessioned volumes from the library on my lunch break to distribute to bored coffee drinkers), and he told me things were fine in general, etc., and, by the way, you broke 16,000 readers. Thanks, Paul. Good work!
Thanks to everyone who regularly reads the blog. If you’re in the Philly area, stop by Ants Pants cafe for breakfast or lunch and a free book, courtesy of Ernest and Paul at E-Verse.
Actually, that picture shows 14,000 people, but I used it because it looks so cool. Below is what 16,000 of you would look like in one place.
