Short Summary
Endemic is a classic good vs. evil story set in a small desert town, and two rival families that for the past 150 years have been at odds over control of the town. The Pelletier family has held the office of sheriff since the town was founded, and the Ivors family wishes to gain control of that office and the town and will do whatever they can to gain it.
For the last 150 years a Pelletier son has held the office of sheriff of the town. The last Pelletier, however, did not have a son — he had a daughter, Cassie. The Ivors believed that this was their opportunity to finally gain control of the town. When Cassie receives overwhelming town support to become sheriff, she is found murdered.
Cassie’s father, Wade Pelletier, goes on a manhunt that unearths dark secrets that have been buried for decades under the sands of Pleasant Springs. It takes him from this small town to America’s hardest prisons and back again. It will change your perception of small town life forever.
The Film Makers
Jon M. McDonnell began his career in the early 90’s, in New York City, where he attended the Herbert Berghof school for acting, after which he joined Alfonse Giordano’s production company, Chalk Outline Productions. Together, Jon and Alphonse began writing and producing a cable series called “Memento Mori.”
After parting ways with Alfonse in 2005, Jon moved to Southern California.
For 6 years Jon was involved with and helped to establish a notable working Production Company in Hollywood. He then went on to establish Bad Gorilla Films. Alfonse Giordano joined Jon in 2010, and they got back to doing what they do best, creating content. Together they created, wrote, produced, directed, shot, and edited two productions in two years in two different states and are only getting better.
This production will mark their first feature since getting back together in 2010.

Endemic is a feature film that marks the continuation of a very long working relationship between two New Yorkers with a “never say die” attitude. We just simply must make this movie.
With your contributions this movie will be made.
What We Need From You
What we need from you are the funds to make this happen. With your contributions we will prepare the script for production, hire the crew, scout locations, cast the film, and hire a lead actor for the part of Wade Pelletier. We hope to secure an A level talent with the funds. The funds will also go towards post-production, music and sound design as well as advertising.
The Impact
We feel this film is the most important first step in a long and prosperous relationship between two friends and the dream they have both worked for as long as the two can remember.
Our mantra for making films has always been, “make it fun and make it to the best of your ability”. With your contributions, we will uphold this mantra.
Having all of you along on this journey will make it more satisfying and enjoyable than any other production we have ever been involved with.
